自分による自分のための私訳です。

Night-time sharpens, 夜 感覚は研ぎ澄まされ
heightens each sensation 感情は高まる
Darkness stirs 闇は
and wakes imagination 想像力を目覚めさせる
Silently the senses 沈黙のうちに
abandon their defences 防御は捨て去られ
Slowly, gently ゆっくりと やさしく
night unfurls its splendour 夜は輝きに満ちた姿を現す
Grasp it, sense it とらえがたく 心に感じとれる
Tremulous and tender その優しいおののき
Turn your face away まぶしすぎる昼の光から
from the garish light of day, 顔をそむけ
turn your thoughts away あの残酷で 無情な光から
from cold, unfeeling light -- 心をそむけ ―
and listen to そして耳を澄まして聴こう
the music of the night 夜の音楽の調べを
Close your eyes 目を閉じて 自分だけの
and surrender to your darkest dreams あの暗い上にも昏い夢を
Purge your thoughts 生活と呼んでいた幻は
of the life you knew before! もはや 遠くへ追いやられ
Close your eyes, let your spirit start ただ精神（こころ）が
to soar! 高く 高く翔けてゆく
And you'll live 生きてなど いなかった
as you've never lived before... そう 今までは
Softly, deftly, やわらかに 巧みに
music shall caress you この音楽が心にふれる
Hear it, feel it, 耳を 肌を通して
secretly possess you ひそやかに 虜にしてゆく
Open up your mind 心の壁は消え失せて
let your fantasies unwind 閉じ込められていた 夢想がひろがる
in this darkness that この優しい闇につつまれ
you know you cannot fight -- 抗うことを忘れ果てる
