白い都様、さんちゃん様の最強コンビで、ハーブの出る幕はないくらいですが（笑）。
私も英語版観て以来、脳内でいろいろと日本語が浮かんでいたので、書かせていただきます。（やはり執政家の３人の場面は、自分なりに書きたくて抵抗できません…あ、みっち様もご同様？ ^^; ）
ハコ割りが正確にわかるといいのですが。（現状の字幕はどう見ても短過ぎたり長過ぎたりするので、それを基準にした字数にこだわるのはやめましたが、画面を見つつ長さはある程度考慮しました。改行はいい加減です。）
「脳内字幕用」として、画面と合わせて見ていただけたらうれしいです。

功だと？ 防備の任にありながら

Faramir: I would have done, but our numbers were too few.
あの時は 兵力差がありすぎ…

異常なまでに次男に辛く当たるデネソールの、刺すような皮肉。その残酷さを訳出したかった。quality の語を含む箇所の嘲笑は、ファラミアの心に深く残り、指輪を前にした時に口をついて出たほどだから、特に。
（採用希望ゼロなので、年少者未読者一般観客への配慮は抜き、「このサイトのお客様用」と開き直りましたことをお断り致します ^^; ）
あと、やはり gift の訳だけは、lords や precious 同様、どうしても自然な日本語にはできませんね…
