はじめまして。本当にこういう字幕だったらどんなにいいか。。と、いつもたくさん教えていただいています。
お詫びがあります。
Faramir: What lies of threats led him on this long march from home.
のところ、What lies or threats でした。日本語字幕書取の時、確認しておくこと
だったのに、申し訳ありません。
後半の字幕、私も何かへんだと思って原作をさがしましたが、
「香り草入りと兎肉シチュー」の終わりの方に、サムについてですが、
(He wondered what the man’s name was and where he came from;
and if he was really evil of heart, )or what lies or threats
had led him on the long march from his home; and if he would
not really rather have stayed there in peace.
「それとも何らかの謀りか威しに乗せられて、故郷をあとに長い進軍を
重ねてきたものなのか、そして本当はその故郷に留まって平和に日を
過ごすことを願っていなかったのか」
とありました。ＤＶＤの字幕は逆を向いているような気がして
考えてみましたが、
What lies of threats led him on this long march from home.
それともだまされたか脅されたか (15)
If he would not rather have stayed there...
平穏な暮らしが望みだったのではないか (18)
...in peace.
故郷で (3)
長すぎます。。また教えてください。
